ugh i did it again...

So I haven't been on here in forever.. well we have had an exciting past month.. as every one knows Japan had a rather large earthquake and tsunami which led to a rather large tsunami surges up here in crescent city. Destroyed our harbor its been crazy to watch their progress of cleaning it up.. well our family has now totally prepaird our selvesfor an emergency.. kids were pretty shook up but now know what to do in an emergency... so exciting news we are just about done with licensing for child care as well as foster care.. we are super excited... well I'm off for now I will hopefully actually get on here more often...

long time coming

Well its been awhile since I've been on here... the holidays have come and gone... the kids got way too much again this yeah but we had fun. My parents come up and spoiled us all rotten. Our oldest went and visited his grandparents and is now on his way home with his sister so we will have all 4 kids here for a week. Best part is my hubby will be home for 2 weeks! Well I'm making it short and sweet.. I'm sure I won't be on here til next year so I hope evrryone has a safe. And happy new years!

wow what a week...

Well my boys had a very exciting week.. Bradley the youngest graduated Howonquet Head Start preschool last friday it was so nice out in Pappas Flat in Gasquet Ca. the meadow was beautiful and my dad joined us from Willits and some very good friends came also... well then the next day our oldest... Brandon went to the prom with a very beautiful girl on his side (Bethany) not sure if they are exactly an item or just really good friends.. but she is a keeper.. .sunday was supposed to be the day of rest.. well my poor husband ended up with the horrible 24 hour stomach flu... so this last weekend which was busy to begin with ended up being a very long week... but i have also started the The weigh down diet. which is a wonderful church related diet.. and so far so good... but i couldnt do it with out my new dear friend Melissa who is doing it with me.. we have had a blast this last week.. walking and calling each other to see how we are doing.. and planning a wonderful garden at her new house which is like 5 houses down from ours... well im off to finish dinner now...

why oh why

why in this great world did we have to catch the looming 24 hour stomach flu??? I mean seriously i only have 8 more days til my baby boy graduates preschool and i dont have time for my self or anyone else to be sick!!! ugh..

well on a happier note.. the weather has been absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! Im so excited summer vacation is around the corner and there are so many things the kids and i want to do and go see.. well im off for now...

Still figuring this whole thing out...

So i am still figuring the whole blogging thing out.. i think i have bitten off more than i can chew again.. (lol not the first time) well the puppies are getting big every day.. my house is never clean anymore.. and i cant kick this week long headache.. ugh.. I have a face book, myspace, blog, Avon orders, child care paperwork, bills, account info coming out my ears.. and i tell my self im board.. what am i thinking.. I am getting more into cooking this last few months which is amazing.. my husband laughs at me i did 3 semesters of general culinary arts courses at the jr college and still cant cook.. but im getting it slowly but surely.. lol i made my first home made mac and cheese with ham and oh wow it was good.. the kids loved it.. which is awesome... lol well now im off to make hamburgers with cheese in them, french fries and watermelon.. were missing summer.. lol

Good rainy morning to all.. so the Easter Bunny came and went already.. he did well this year just a bit of candy.. (that's what happens when momma bunny shops with out daddy bunny!!! ha ha ha) So this year there was no egg hunt at our house due to extra four legged hunters that would love to find an egg or two.. so were off to a neighbors house who has hid 3 dozen eggs at their house.. yeah for friends.. this year has been mellow for the holiday dad working and big brother too big to participate and older sister not around.. but all anticipation is being held for next weekend for Jasmin's 7th birthday party.. we will have friends and some family (my parents are driving up) a jump house if the weather holds up some cake and maybe a pinada.. well gonna finish preping our meal for Gerry before he goes to work...

wow oh wow

wow what was i thinking.... lol well in the last few weeks i had decided to rescue 2 puppies and a kitten.. so welcome to the family Cocoa and Halligan our 9 week old Australian Shepherd, Chocolate lab mix pups.. and our 4 week old kitten Yoda.. so now on top of 3 kids i added 3 babies.. well its been fun with potty training, feeding schedules and just plain figuring it all out.. i haven't had time to do much including clean the house.. i also managed to clean up the back yard and rearrange the garage. well this is a short one. but that's about all the time i have.
